Tout au long de ses 30 années de carrière, Dan Tyminski a laissé sa marque dans tous les recoins de la musique moderne. La voix de Tyminski accompagne la célèbre interprétation par George Clooney de la chanson classique des frères Stanley, « I'm A Man of Constant Sorrow », dans le film Oh Brother, Where Art Thou et sa collaboration vocale avec le DJ suédois Avicii sur la chanson « Hey, Brother » a été un succès mondial, ayant été diffusé plus d'un milliard de fois à ce jour.

Dan a également contribué à la guitare et/ou à l'harmonie à des projets de Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Aaron Lewis et Rob Thomas, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. En plus de sa carrière solo très réussie, Dan Tyminski joue de la guitare et de la mandoline pour Alison Krauss et Union Station depuis 1994. Ses compétences instrumentales inégalées et sa voix de ténor polie et émouvante ont été des éléments clés du groupe.

Dan a reçu 14 Grammy Awards, a été nommé chanteur masculin de l'année par l'International Bluegrass Music Association quatre fois et a été reconnu chanteur masculin de l'année 2004 par la Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America.

En 2022, Dan a enregistré le célèbre EP « One More Time Before You Go », célébrant l’héritage de Tony Rice. Et plus récemment, le dernier album bluegrass complet de Dan, « God Fearing Heathen », est sorti et a rapidement atteint la première place du classement des albums Bluegrass de Billboard.

Le Dan Tyminski Band tourne fréquemment et est composé de Gaven Largent (Dobro), Maddie Denton (violon), Jason Davis (banjo), Grace Davis (basse) et Harry Clark (mandoline).

Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. In addition to his highly successful solo career, Dan Tyminski has played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss and Union Station since 1994. His unmatched instrumental skills and burnished, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band.

Dan has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards, was named Male Vocalist of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association four times and was recognized as 2004’s Male Vocalist of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America.
